Dear Cache GOP Central Committee Member,
We hope you and your families are doing well! In accordance with County Party bylaw (2A) we are required to hold a spring County Central Committee meeting. You might ask yourself, “What is there to do in a non-election year for public offices?” There is plenty to do and talk about. The Republican Party in our country, state, and yes even Cache County is facing a crisis!
The number of younger voters NOT joining the Party of their parents, and grandparents are alarming, to say the least! We are outnumbered in the House 4 legislative district by Democrat and other unaffiliated voters. We are fortunate that all the partisan officeholders in Cache County are Republican. However, we need to come together now more than ever to maintain that supermajority. We must be willing to work a phone bank, pound the pavement knocking doors, take our turn to help pass out Party Platforms & Constitutions at parades and other events, etc.
We also have some unfinished business from our County Organizing Convention that we need to take care of. You also have the opportunity to submit bylaw amendment proposals, discussion, and/or action items for the agenda. Please send those items to email@example.com no later than 5 PM Friday, May 14th.
The spring central committee meeting will be held on Saturday, May 22nd at the time and location below.
Cache County Historic Courthouse – Council Chambers – 199 Main St, Logan, UT
Credentialing: 8:30-9 AM
Meeting: 9-10:30 AM
Who’s invited? All precinct officers, elected officials, and County Executive Committee members. The meeting agenda will be sent with a reminder email on Monday, May 17th by 5 PM and will be posted on the Party’s website; https://cachegop.com/. See you there!
Yours in conservatism,
Chris Booth | Cache GOP Chair
