2020 Cache County Nominating Convention
SAVE THE DATE
The Cache County Republican Party will be holding the Nominating Convention on April 16, 2020. The Convention will be a virtual one. We are working on the logistics of how we are going to hear from the candidates and vote on each race. We do know the voting process will be electronic. Ultimately for those delegates who cannot participate electronically, we will have a paper ballot for you to come fill out at a location to be determined. More details will be sent out once a plan is solidified.
County Nominating Conventions are held for the purpose of casting ballots to nominate party candidates for the state legislature and county offices. Usually other County Party business takes place at the Convention. That will not be the case this year. We will only be voting for the candidates.
County delegates elected by their neighbors at their precinct 2018 caucus meeting will continue their delegate position and will participate in the Cache County Nominating Convention. Cache county elected officials and precinct chairs have ex-officio status and will participate in the convention as well.
More details about the Convention will follow as they become available! Thank you for your patience as we work out the best way to provide equal access for each delegate to participate in this historic convention.
