How The Republican Party Works

We believe in representative government - a republic. Neighborhoods elect delegates at Caucus to represent them at conventions where they elect candidates to represent us in county and state offices. We select fewer delegates so they can do deeper analysis, the opposite of direct democracy. Delegates determine each candidates fitness for the office and their fidelity to Republican principles and platform.
