URP Chair debates Caucus Sytem

Utah Republican Party Chair James Evans debated the merits of the Caucus System on KUER radio in June (2016).
Evans explained that the system of electing delegates at neighborhood caucuses, who then vet candidates and decide who goes on the ballot, is preferable to the small special interest group Count My Vote choosing candidates. There are 4,000 state delegates compared to less than 20 in CMV who decide what candidates they will fund and who are not accountable to anyone, Evans said.
The debate with CMV founder Kirk Jowers starts at 2:20 minutes into the recording.
