James Swink

for Cache County Attorney

My wife Keri Merrill Swink, a Smithfield native, and I live in Providence where we are raising our five children. We feel fortunate to be able to live in Cache Valley and be able to raise our children in such a beautiful and safe community.

My legal career has been devoted to public service and I feel deeply, as your County Attorney, the responsibility to keep our schools and community safe. I have worked closely with law enforcement for over 16 years in providing community education, developing alternative treatment programs, and enforcing the law to keep our schools, highways, and neighborhoods safe.

I also feel deeply the continuous need to protect the County in its day to day operations and provide sound legal counsel to county departments and offices. With the support of the County Council, my office has been able to reallocate legal services to better serve county departments. This has resulted in being able to address legal questions in a more effective and timely manner.

It has been a privilege to serve as your County Attorney the last five years.  It is my desire to continue as your  County Attorney and to workJames & Keri Swink and their friends Sharon & Sen. R. Curt Webb

for Utah State Legislature

House District 5

Craig McAllister

for Cache County Treasurer

>The party's treasurer, Tyler Pitcher,  has recused himself (temporarily resigned) until after the November election. The Cache Republican Party supports the caucus/convention/primary system. Our candidates that are on the ballot went through that process, and have our complete and full support.
